SAFETY FLOORING

THE ONE

You may have familiarised with itec contract floors’ advanced safety flooring range in our recent Vinyl, Rubber & Lino Supplement, but just in case you missed it, we take a look at isafe one, one of the collections within the range which draws inspiration from mineral resources and nature’s ability to create symmetrical structures.

The stunning isafe one advanced safety flooring collection from itec contract floors aims to provide spaces with a purposeful collection designed to provide functionality in a wide range of environments. It also delivers exemplary slip resistance, achieving R11 and 36+ (wet and dry) performances. Delivering purposeful plain colourways, the isafe one collection also features stand-out designs, giving specifiers many interior options. Manufactured at itec’s state of the art facility, the isafe one collection is made to exacting tolerances, meaning impeccable performance.

All floors within the isafe one collection feature a Hyperguard+ PUR treated wear layer that makes maintenance easier, so that the advanced safety flooring can be used anywhere from kitchen areas through to receptions and in facilities as diverse as hospitality and commercial offices as well as healthcare and

education settings. With a 0.7mm wear layer, the isafe one collection also achieves Class 34 and Class 43, making it suitable for demanding environments.

“The isafe one collection ensures that everyone can benefit from additional health and safety benefits without compromise.”

– Jason Barrett, National Sales Manager at itec contract floors.

Fully compatible with the pioneering Invisiweld cold weld technology for an almost imperceptible join with faster and easier installation, the isafe one collection is available in both two and four- metre widths to minimise wastage dependant on requirement. “As part of the isafe advanced safety flooring collection, isafe one has been developed for contractors and specifiers looking for safety flooring that not only delivers reassurance, but also style and that retains

resilient flooring’s reputation for ease of maintenance,” Jason Barrett, National Sales Manager at itec contract floors, commented. “The isafe one collection ensures that everyone can benefit from additional health and safety benefits without compromise.”

As previously mentioned, all floors within

the isafe one collection are compatible with the Invisiweld* jointing system, which is being pioneered by the manufacturer as the future of resilient sheet installation: “We have already spread the message of Invisiweld and we feel that its ability to create an almost imperceptible join is a major advantage, particularly in locations that are front of house. That said, without any working life drawbacks and many installation advantages, Invisiweld can

be used everywhere that isafe** is specified. The difference it makes to the finished look of the floor is huge and it makes design intents faithful to the look of natural materials even more plausible. Faster, easier and with a better end result, Invisiweld really is the future of resilient sheet installation.”

Isafe advanced safety flooring truly represents a turning point for the safety flooring sector and is readily available from distributors across the UK. To find out more, visit www.itecfloors.co.uk.

*Here at Tomorrow’s Flooring, we were that impressed with Invisiweld hat we awarded it a place in the Tomorrow’s Flooring Product Awards 2013, in which we honoured what we deemed to be the 50 best products in the flooring industry.

**As well as isafe one, all floors within the isafe apex collection are compatible with the Invisweld system too.
