I hope you’re all well and the sun is shining where you are!

Starting the issue off is the latest flooring industry news - including who were the three overall winners in our Product Awards! Head to page 18 to see who will be getting a trophy in the post very soon...

Onto our main feature sections, and the first one this month is Hotel & Leisure Flooring in which Sian Lewis from Amtico puts her perspective on the changing face of the hotel and leisure industry and we look at two case studies from Karndean Designflooring and Schlüter-Systems.

Next up, we look at Screeds, Resins & Coatings, starting the section off with AMA Researches’ insight into the construction chemicals market and looking at a recent job using Granwax products that helped to transform the assembly hall floors of a school in Merseyside.

After that, we focused on Safety Flooring, featuring Forbo’s Surestep Wood Decibel range and speaking to Emma Goulding from Altro who discusses what’s required to meet the latest safety flooring legislation. And if all that wasn’t enough, all of our regulars are in the issue too, including the Tomorrow’s Products section, the Makeover of the Month and the Spotlight article.

As always, I hope you enjoy reading the issue and learn something new. If you ever want to contribute yourself, just get in touch via email or follow us on Twitter @TomoFlooring.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to let you lovely readers know that this will be my last issue as Editor of Tomorrow’s Flooring. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working in the flooring industry, and I hope you will continue to look to our online magazine as your fix of all things flooring.

Thanks for everything!

Hello everyone and welcome to the May issue of Tomorrow’s Flooring.
