COMBINING STYLE AND SUSTAINABILITY
Global carpet tile manufacturer, Interface, is now offering its most sustainable carpet tiles with greater choice than ever before. More than
365 colours and 20 styles across the company’s diverse product range are now available with 100% recycled yarn for a greatly reduced environmental
impact and customers can even choose from new colours in the popular Biosfera collection, as well as several brand new ranges and ‘100% recycled yarn’ versions of their best- selling products.
Interface was the first company in the industry to develop a product with 100% recycled nylon yarn, when it introduced the best- selling Biosfera I in 2011. Featuring products with half the carbon footprint of a typical carpet tile, recycled materials in the backing and a minimal amount of yarn, Biosfera I is the result of Interface simply redesigning its products to reduce their largest environmental impact. Steve Hamilton, Director Northern Europe, UK and Ireland, commented: “We
