New WSMA Strategic Plan

• Research the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s students to tailor WSMA programs and services to meet those needs

• Perpetuate the successes of students and teachers participating in WSMA programs and services to school and community decision-makers

• Ensure continuous operational stabil- ity of WSMA

New Opportunities: The current WSMA Strategic Plan best summarizes the op- portunities that lie ahead for WSMA. It looks at researching and developing ways that WSMA can be of greater service to students and teachers at WSMA mem- ber schools, ways that WSMA can help schools and school districts perpetuate the value of school music programs and participation in WSMA programs and services, and ways that WSMA can con- tinue to keep a watchful eye on its ability to provide quality programs and services without tapping further into the precious resources of member schools.
