42 Air Monitoring Steam Heated Gas Sampling Probe

The heated gas sampling probe JES 301G from JCT Analysentechnik (Austria) is designed for continuous sampling in processes with high dust content. As the heating source is steam, the probe can also be used in ATEX Zone 1 or 2 where electrical connections may cause problems. JCT´s heated hose series JH can be easily connected directly to the JES 301G. Gas Sample Probes incorporate a calibration and / or back purge port are also as an option available.

The operating temperature of max. 200°C is regulated by the steam pressure. A sample ceramic filter element with a filter porosity of 2 micron and the filtration from outside to the inside ensure that the gas passes the heated hose free of dust particles. The filter can be replaced easily without any tools while the heated hose stays connected.

The heated gas sampling probe JES 301G is extremely robust to provide many years of operation in harsh environment. Typical process or CEM applications can be found in chemical and petrochemical industry.

A broad range of different materials for filter elements, In-situ probe tubes and large In-situ-pre filters make the JES 301G versatile in application. 25916pr@reply-direct.com

For More Info, email: Simplifying Laser Diode Operation For OEM Gas Sensing Solutions

Incorporating all necessary laser driver and temperature control electronics with the Laser Diode is a massively simplifying and freeing exercise, especially for OEMs that employ Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS). Eblana Photonics (Ireland) have now produced a versatile & flexible product for this purpose – The DX1-Sensing.

Leveraging Eblana’s Discrete Mode (DM) single-line laser technology, optimised for industrial gas and air quality monitoring, The DX1-Sensing incorporates the laser diode with all necessary electronics to drive the laser and temperature controller fully, functionality necessitated by TDLAS, all housed in a compact yet highly robust enclosure.

By removing the onus of the OEM to design and manufacture all laser control electronics, Eblana Photonics have

simplified the entire process, whilst keeping costs low. The DX1-Sensing is operated by a single 5V supply, and allows for direct modulation and temperature control – perfect for integration with custom electronics. The DX1-Sensing is specifically designed to be incorporated with all of Eblana’s existing gas sensing lines: O2, CH4, NH3, CO2, HCl, H2O, CO, Rb.

The Ecotech (Australia) Serinus ambient air gas analysers continue to evolve with improved appearance, functionality and performance. Offering improvements in communication, programmability and useability, Ecotech's latest upgrade to the Serinus analysers provides a solution that is second to none for use in ambient air monitoring.

The Serinus analysers are U.S. EPA Equivalent or Reference Methods and EN approved. They are designed especially for the measurement of criteria

pollutants including O3, CO, NO/NO2/NOX and SO2. Additional instruments in the range for the measurement of NH3, H2S, TRS and TS are also available.

The Serinus range features enhanced communication which now includes RS232, USB and Bluetooth as standard plus optional TCP/IP ethernet. Bluetooth connectivity combined with the “Ecotech Serinus Remote” Android App (available from the Google Play store) makes it even easier to program, maintain, download and email data without touching the instrument.

Completing our communications package is a wide range of protocols including Modbus, Bavarian and Ecotech’s own advanced protocol which provides access to over 200 measurement and diagnostic parameters.

Combining these analysers into an ambient monitoring station and using Ecotech’s Airodis Data collection, validation and reporting software to manage data helps our customers achieve high data capture rates, minimise maintenance and achieve their air quality monitoring objectives.

The Excellence for Ambient Air Analysis on Benzene and VOCs Using a unique mix

of gas chromatograph technology and a photoionisation detector (PID), the VOC 72M from Environnement S.A (France) has a

Optimised indoor air quality

superior performance standard equal to laboratory chromatographs. Robust and low maintenance (no PID lamp cleaning), with wide voltage range specifications (90-240V), it is equally suited to fixed or mobile ambient air quality monitoring stations.

Able to provide detection in the ppb range and equipped with an LCD screen, the VOC 72M can be used to sample, analyse and manage data from VOC samples in a simple and completely autonomous mode. The LCD screen easily displays the gas chromatograph peaks directly-on-screen without any need for a laptop or PC. The imperceptible memory effect (10 times lower than required by the standard EN14662-3) allows the calibration of the analyser on a single cycle without an external PC. The column is equipped with an innovative liquid-cooler; the retention times are stable even with a fluctuating temperature.

Indoor air quality monitoring

The wall-mounted or desktop CO2 display measures and records CO2, humidity and temperature simultaneously. Air quality in classrooms, meeting rooms, offices and other environments can be conveniently checked at a glance.

Finally, the remote diagnosis without opening the hood, the replacement of the trap in less than 2 minutes requiring no adjustment, a PID detector more sensitive, more stable and whose lamp does not need to be cleaned, integrated flow control fittings, the use of only one gas (nitrogen), a 3 levels security system built on, etc. makes this robust and low maintenance instrument the must have for air quality for monitoring networks.

The VOC72M is TÜV certified and complies with the European standard EN14662-3 for the measurement of benzene.
