Two New Water Jacketed CO2
Incubators Introduced NuAire Laboratory Equipment introduces two new Water Jacketed CO2 incubator models In-VitroCell NU-8600 and NU-8631 with O2 control. These recently released NuAire CO2
Incubators, unlike other incubators, use Water Jacketed technology for greater temperature uniformity to ensure optimal cell growth.
The NU-8600 series CO2 Incubator uses heated water to surround the growth chamber
so that uniform temperature conditions for cell culture growth are reached. This product also uses a single source dual wave IR sensor to maintain accurate CO2
gas levels that are
impervious to other elements such as water vapor. Model NU-8631 features humidity levels up ninety-five percent are produced through the use of a water pan, a perfect match for the environment of mammalian cell studies.
There are many features on this product that provide the user with the best possible conditions for cell growth. The NU-8600 features Constant Contamination Control systems. This system includes a Closed Loop HEPA Filtration system, Coved Interior Corners, and copper surfaces.
The Closed Loop HEPA Filtration system produces an environment similar to an ISO Class 5 clean room, slowing airflow to one chamber volume air change
in 20 to 30-minute intervals to minimise cell desiccation. Next, the
Coved Interiors Corners are also featured to create a crevice-free interior that is easier to clean and helps to eliminated potential growth within areas of the chamber. Lastly, the incubator offers a copper chamber and/or shelving option, to help minimise potential contamination.
The NU-8600 and NU-8631 also provide reliable temperature uniformity, where
the growth chamber is surrounded by heated water and monitored and CO2 Gas Accuracy, where a dual wave infrared sensor maintains accurate CO2
levels
within .01%. Also featured is the Growth Condition Recovery system, where the incubator will recover gas and temperature faster than most CO2
incubators. Lastly, the NU-8631 is set to deal with hypoxic conditions by injecting N2 gas to meet the set point.
The NU-8600 and the NU-8631 series feature the NuTouch Electronic Control System (ECS), which is a user-friendly touch-screen LCD that allows for the control of parameters and offers status indicators, on screen instructions and notifications to assist with proper use. The NuTouch ECS also provides on screen maintenance reminders to help the user ensure the product stays in its best condition.
