consumable product line from Beckman Coulter. Based in the UK, Hichrom is a leading European manufacturer and distributor of HPLC columns, consumables and media, with manufacturing facilities accredited to both ISO9001 (Quality) and ISO14001 (Environmental) standards.
Until 31st December 2009, Beckman Coulter will continue to sell the Ultrasphere® products remaining in inventory while supplies last via existing distribution channels. Once a product is depleted, customers are requested to contact Hichrom directly for their future requirement.
From 1st January 2010, Ultrasphere® products will no longer be available from Beckman Coulter, and customers are requested to contact Hichrom directly by one of the following options; Circle no. 326

Metrohm present the 883 Basic IC plus, their new entry-level model to intelligent ion chromatography. The 883 Basic IC plus is Metrohm’s smallest ion chromatograph and has been designed to meet the requirements of schools and universities as well as routine applications in particular.
The 883 Basic IC plus features all the intelligent functions of Metrohm’s high end ion chromatographs. The iColumn technology facilitates the handling of columns and protects them against operational damage. Also included are the intelligent high-pressure pump iPump and the iDetector, Metrohm’s intelligent conductivity detector. The easy-to-use CRM offers safety benefits for users because Starna is the only CRM supplier that is permanently heat-fuse sealing methanol thereby ensuring that laboratory users no longer need to handle methanol, which is a volatile, flammable, toxic solvent.
