We appear to be coming out of one of the worst recessions since the seventies. I can remember that period well, as I started our Labmate journals in 1974. Now coming up to 40 years next year!

Our Conference and Exhibition division has seen its shows being completely sold out. For example, our Air Quality and Emissions show AQE, filled all space available and showed an increase in visitor numbers of over 300%. Our WWEM Exhibition (Water, Wastewater and Environmental monitoring) was completely booked in 2012 and the 2014 event is already over 50% subscribed to making it the leading analytical show in the UK by far.
From 28th July-2nd August in Scotland we will also be hosting the 11th International Conference and Exhibition on Mercury as a Global Pollutant. This event has over 1,000 presentations and delegates from over 50 countries participating to see what the UNEP’s Global Mercury treaty will mean to them.
Our journals are leaders in their fields, our readers keep the journals to read, reference and source new products, they rate our editorial and news content as 99.4% good to excellent! On-line we have also increased business as more readers subscribe to our journals on-line and sign up for our e-newsletters and source products from our websites. International Labmate is no longer a traditional journal based publishing house but a multi-media marketing company. We have changed with the times as times have changed.
