Rotary Cone Sample Divider Guarantees Representative Sample Division
A perfect sample preparation is the indispensable foundation for every analysis – because any errors will be reflected in the results later on. Therefore the reliable creation of guaranteed representative subsamples plays an absolutely central role. The Fritsch Rotary Cone Sample Divider LABORETTE 27 offers the ideal conditions: it is the only sample divider on the market dividing your samples with up to 3,000 dividing steps per minute centred over a rotating dividing cone into up to 30 separate channels. Each individual sample with identical chemical and physical properties - with 99.9% accuracy for many more sample materials than any other similar method. The sample delivery funnel guides the sample material exactly centred on the tip of the rotating cone for even more accuracy during sample division. For division of liquid samples, without modification, simply reposition the funnel since suspensions can only be divided eccentrically. The LABORETTE 27 is also suitable for the production of specific mixing ratios of dietary supplements, mineral feed mixtures etc. or for mixtures according to the QuEChERS method.
The LABORETTE 27 has specially developed plastic inserts with 25ml volume for insertion into the 250ml and 500ml sample bottles for the smallest quantities. Practical and quick clamping allows for rapid and safe fixing of sample bottles with 250ml and 500ml useful capacity. Glass collecting vessels are available in different sizes from 15ml to 500ml for up to 4 litres total volume. These are dishwasher-safe and therefore particularly easy to clean.
Depending on the used dividing head, chemically and physically identical subsamples of 8, 10 or 3 can be created at ratios of 1:8, 1:10 or 1:30. Cleaning is easy due to the removable dividing head.
Select exactly the right dividing head for your LABORETTE 27 as an accessory according to your application in the division ratios of 1:8; 1:10 or 1:30 made of stable POM plastic. Anodised aluminium dividing heads – 1:8 and 1:10 – are available for materials and suspensions with abrasive properties. And for especially aggressive solids and suspensions, the resistant PTFE-coated aluminium dividing head 1:30 is also available.
Viscosity Measurement and Precision Temperature Control
The new Brookfield DV3T Touch Screen Rheometer provides customers with integrated temperature control right from the screen. The new DV3T was engineered to allow the user to control the temperature of Brookfield TC Series Baths or the Brookfield Thermosel System without a PC. Brookfield recently launched the new DV3T Touch Screen Rheometer delivering a totally new user experience. This major redesign enhances ease of use and includes many new features. The 7” touch screen conveniently displays all test parameters along with measured values for yield stress, viscosity and temperature.
TC Series Water Baths were also recently given a sleek new design that includes the addition of touch screen technology, one- touch control with adjustable pre-set temperatures as well as multiple language capability. The Brookfield Thermosel System is a high temperature system that allows manufacturers to precisely control samples up to 300°C.
Brookfield’s new RheocalcT software gives the operator the ability to control and automate testing with the DV3T Rheometer, TC Series Bath and Thermosel System from a dedicated PC. RheocalcT also collects data automatically, provides comparative analysis of results - both tabular and graphical, and permits application of math models.
