Read Scene 3 before answering the questions below. Scene 3

Lindi: (Dressed in her uniform; she returns home after school and scatters some corn on the ground. She sits down and waits, watching the road.) I hope Gogo is all right. The journey to Durban is long and she left so early. I wonder if she sold any beadwork this time. I hope she showed them my beautiful dove. (She smiles, jumps up and runs to meet Grandmother Maloko.) Gogo: (Smiles, hugs Lindi and sits down with relief. She sighs and shakes her head.) The beachfront was too busy again so I went to the Community Art Shop this time. Lindi: Did they buy your beadwork? Gogo: No, they did not. (She hands Lindi the bag full of beads.) Lindi: (Looks sad) What will we do now? Gogo: Well, they bought your dove and they have asked us to make lots more! They said they have never seen such beautiful beaded birds before like ours. Lindi: (Jumps up and down clapping her hands) I knew it! I knew the dove was special for us. (Lindi and Grandmother Maloko embrace.)
