Venue Insight Platform Launch Unlocks a New Way to Travel
This Summer and Asks You to #stayinapub #STAYINAPUB TO SAVE YOUR SUMMER AND OUR MUCH-LOVED LOCALS
There is a new way to travel the UK this summer – currently untapped by many, yet its venues form the backbone of our British culture and hold the key to unlocking a secret Britain.
Stay in a Pub is a new booking platform that hosts more than 1,700 gems across the UK – a curated collection of boutique and unique rooms, classic inns and affordable accommodation, allowing you to travel this year, but with a twist on the traditional staycation.
Following one of the toughest years for pubs in living history and at a time where holidaymakers are being urged to hold off on travelling abroad, the group behind the new website is asking Brits to #stayinapub this summer as part of a campaign to support the sector as it reopens.
The new website allows guests to directly book unique, handpicked pub accommodation no matter their requirements. Whether that’s looking for somewhere to take your lockdown pup for a weekend away, several welcoming stops along your cycling tour or to take in the best of London away from the bustling crowds.
Passionate about the Great British pub, the #stayinapub campaign has been created to support pubs in driving accommodation bookings for landlords but also give visitors access to the best rates, special deals and discounts this summer – a win, win for everyone!
Paul Nunny, Founding Director of Stay in a Pub said; “Pub stays can be a wonderful way to see the UK and we want to encourage holiday makers to try something different by experiencing this ‘new’ way of travelling around. With the government currently advising people to hold off from booking flights abroad and staycation bookings in England soaring, we feel it could not be a more poignant time to share our platform. We have always championed the pub sector but know it is now more important than ever to get behind our local pubs.
We hope our platform will help travellers consider more alternative forms of accommodation as they make their travel plans this summer and choose to #stayinapub.”
As part of the campaign and website launch, the brand will be working hard to promote pubs with accommodation and will provide special offers via social media – so followers are advised to keep an eye out in the run up to the restrictions being lifted.
