A message from Santa Claus Calling Children of all ages


Well it’s certainly been a difficult year for everyone, especially for you children whose schools were closed for a very long time.


Not forgetting your grown-ups who had to work from home, as well as making sure that you did your lessons.


And, of course, everyone who had to go to work each day to care for people who were ill, supply our food, take us to work, dispose of our rubbish, keep us safe and so on…. and then there were those who had to stay at home alone. To cap it all, a little bird told me that you’re wondering what will happen to Christmas this year! I can tell you that Santa’s Workshop has been just as busy as ever during 2020. There are gifts-a-plenty, the


elves are getting excited, the reindeer are in fine shape and I’m dreaming of mince pies and other Christmas treats.

Whilst it’s quite true that you may not be seeing me around your neighbourhood quite as much as usual during November and December, I will be making a few trips to Yorkshire during that time. You may even catch a glimpse of me on Zoom or something similar, or even through your classroom windows, who knows? But don’t worry if you don’t, because you can be sure that Christmas Eve will see me doing my round the world trip as always. So be good, go to sleep nice and early on Christmas Eve (no peeping) and when you awake on the 25th, you’ll see for yourself that yours truly arrived on time as always.
