Filled with a flurry of handcrafted finds, The Makers Emporium on Rotherham’s High Street makes for a unique shopping experience this festive season.

The Makers Emporium elevates the pop-up shop concept to a new level. Since opening in 2014, they have supported over 100 local businesses, with a mixture of makers, crafters and artists sharing a professionally managed retail space.
Inside the emporium you will find an array of locally designed and handcrafted items, a lot of which have a Rotherham or Yorkshire twist. Goodies include quirky dialect prints and mugs, clothing emblazoned with local sayings, as well as greetings cards featuring regional football teams and Yorkshire quips. The Makers Emporium has a fantastic festive selection of decorations, gift boxes and wrap, as well as handmade wreaths and adorable elf dolls. For gift inspiration, there is always something new to discover. From original paintings to local history books, unique jewellery to artisan chocolates, soy candles to handmade bath bombs and lots more besides.
But the best thing about shopping at The Makers Emporium is knowing that the money you spend supports the many local small businesses who work tirelessly to bring something unique to Rotherham Town Centre.
