RD: Te Crosby Group has a strong position in the off-shore market including our subsea ROV hooks and shackles. We have a line of mooring sockets but mooring components and systems have not traditionally been a core strength. Feubo’s products dramatically expand the Te Crosby Group’s mooring product line with kenter-type connections, mooring shackles, swivels and sockets, ROV operated H- links, shackles and hooks all of which complement our existing portfolio and expand our end-market reach. Tis creates value for distributors and end-users as both lines are carried through a single and local point of contact and support with better product availability.

“FOR ALL OUR ACQUISITIONS, OUR NUMBER ONE AREA OF FOCUS IS THE CUSTOMER – WE PRIORITIZE THOSE PARTS OF THE INTEGRATION THAT WILL DRIVE VALUE FOR OUR CHANNEL PARTNERS AND END-USERS.”

WRE: Are Feubo’s customers likely to already be using other Crosby products?

RD: Absolutely! Tere are a lot of Crosby products

(for example shackles, and wire rope clips) that are used every day in staging and deploying mooring systems. Bringing these two businesses together will enable these customers to standardize on Crosby/Feubo solutions for both the mooring system and the rigging used to lift, handle and deploy those systems, giving them a single point of contact and accountability.

WRE: Is the Offshore market a major focus for Te Crosby Group, or one that you see offering a lot of potential right now?

RD: Te offshore market has been a core strength

for Te Crosby Group for decades. Recently, activity in the offshore market has been at a relatively low level. However, we have seen and continue to plan for renewed strength in this market especially in places like the North Sea, Brazil and Australia.

WRE: How do you go about integrating the operation of a business like Feubo into Te Crosby Group? Are there certain functions that you seek to integrate closely, and others that you do not? For all our acquisitions, our number one area of focus is the customer – we prioritize those parts of the integration that will drive value for our channel partners and end-users. Tis customer focus typically

leads to an immediate focus on our technical field sales teams. We’ve got more lifting and securement expertise closer to the point of use than any other manufacturer, equipping those teams with technical and application knowledge allows us to dramatically increase the level of local support that we can offer customers. In addition, we also tend to focus on leveraging our global network of stocking locations – with nine stocking locations around the world we also have more product closer to the point of use than any other manufacturer. Leveraging this network enables faster response time to distributors and end users ultimately driving safety and productivity.
