This April, Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham is hosting its second SuperJam Tea Party following a successful launch in February. The popular pastime has recently been introduced to the people of Rotherham by Jason Gossop, Sales Manager at the Hotel, and Kathy Markwick, Freelance Community Consultant who has been running the events in Barnsley for the last five years. Everyone is invited but SuperJam is a great initiative for the lonely and isolated to meet new people whilst enjoying an afternoon of cakes and companionship.
The forthcoming event is on
Wednesday 8th April 12pm until 3pm. Tickets cost just £6.95 and include Afternoon tea plus live entertainment from rock ‘n roll singer, Steve Gray, who will be performing hits by Bobby Vee, The Drifters, and Everly Brothers to name a few.
Anyone of any age can attend and the event will be dementia friendly and open to carers and their families, too.
