Mother’s Day Card

YOU WILL NEED • Page template and decoupage • 300gsm A4 white card • Silver mirror card • Patterned card • 8” x 6” thick card • 2 four-inch dia circles • Mother’s Day verse • Fine border peel offs • 1m of ribbon • Strong tape

• 3D glue gel or foam pads • Rolling pin and scissors Craft pack with template available from Craft Corner & the Bears Den

METHOD

Using your free template, cut out the three pages: the largest (back page) from white card, the medium (middle page) from silver mirror card and the smallest (front page) from patterned card. Shape all three pages individually over a rolling pin. Use your fine border peel offs to decorate the front and back page working from the middle outwards. Stick ribbon down the centre of the smallest page.

Make up your decoupage. Starting with the full image, separate each layer with 3D glue gel or foam pads. Mount onto one of the 4” circles and place in the centre of the left-hand page. Cut out the ‘time for tea’ words

and stick above and below the decoupage.

Cut out and mount your verse onto the remaining circle and place on the right-hand side.

Cut out your stand template and place on a piece of folded 8” x 6” thick card. Draw around and cut out. It is important that you use heavy card for this to enable the

stand to hold your card weight. Make two bows and stick

to the top and bottom of your centre ribbon.

Place your card in a box, envelope or gift bag. Your card is now complete.
