2019 saw some big changes at one of Northamptonshire’s oldest law firms, DFA Law LLP, who have been providing legal services for over 180 years. Rachel Adams joined the firm in


July as a partner and head of Family Law, bringing a wealth of practical experience and management with a specific focus upon financial matters arising from divorce. She also has lots of experience in the preparation of pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, civil partnerships, and disputes arising from the separation of cohabiting couples. Rachel has been included in legal


directories Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners for a number of years, with the 2019 edition of Chambers and Partners quoting: ‘She is a first-class solicitor. She is tenacious in pursuit of her client’s case but is also compassionate and understanding of her client’s needs’. DFA’s Private Client team also


welcomed a new partner in October with Hannah Furr’s appointment, taking over from Peter Critchell. Hannah is a highly regarded

strengthening its banking and finance capability with the appointments of partner, Haydon Simmonds and associate, Harriet Rogers.
