ADAM LIFTED TO THE TOP POSITION AT HITEC

Prospero Girardi, co-founder of Hitec Lift Trucks, has officially announced his retirement from the business after 33 years at the helm. He said: “The decision I took to

retire from Hitec Lift Trucks at the end of 2019 wasn’t taken lightly, but it came at the right time both for myself and the business. “The company I co-founded and managed has grown through the years and has left me with many fond memories. I’ve been able to build some strong relationships

with customers, who have stuck with Hitec no matter what. Thank you for your dedication and may there be many more years ahead! “In May 2018, Hitec Lift Trucks

was acquired by Briggs Equipment UK. I can honestly say that it was the best decision I could have made for the business. General manager Adam Lantsbery and I worked hard to restructure the business in preparation for my departure and I knew that all was in place for Adam to take my place.”

Adam (pictured with Prospero)

has been with the company for over a decade, operating as sales director and stepped into the role of general manager, following Prospero’s retirement on 1 January. Marketing specialist Hannah

Newman-Plummer added: “We hope you’ll join us in wishing Adam all the best in his new role and that Prospero thoroughly enjoys his well-deserved retirement.”
