BUSINESS REPORT
BEYOND THEORY TAKEN TO QATAR
A leading training expert has delivered Customer Service Leadership Training for an independent special needs centre in Qatar. Paul Beesley, of Beyond
Theory, was commissioned by the Mind Institute in Qatar to deliver the bespoke training course after its bosses were impressed by his firm’s website and reputation. He explained: “Mind
Institute is a successful business, facing growing pains which are similar to many of our clients. Delivering customer excellence requires great leadership, so we looked at leadership styles and how to improve their overall customer experience and gave them customer journey mapping skills. “The course was incredibly
well received. It was nice for us to be involved in this project because people with disabilities are not always so well catered for in that part of the world.”

FIRMS JOIN IN MERGER
Two businesswomen from Northampton have merged their firms to strengthen their offering to clients. Lindsey Marriott and Charlotte
Green (pictured) met at a networking event and after several discussions it was clear their skills and experience complemented each other. They stopped trading independently and created a new business called Specific Learning & Coaching. Lindsey is a customer service specialist and her company, LJM Associates, worked with leadership teams to implement positive
change. She also helped improve their customer journeys and transform their organisations through customer and employee feedback, culminating in the launch of The REAP Network, an online, real-time survey software. Charlotte is a business
operations specialist and her business, Charlotte Green Coaching, worked with businesses to streamline processes and help leaders to manage people and processes in high volume environments. As a qualified neuro- linguistic programming practitioner, Charlotte worked with leaders and
teams to change mindsets and business cultures. Now, they offer specific solutions
to businesses, specialising in those with a remote workforce, multi- sites and people on the move. They offer blended learning and coaching solutions. Charlotte said: “We identify and
verify issues, we strengthen leadership skills and we offer ongoing support to maintain competency, all with measurable results.”
