NEW FITNESS CENTRE IS STRICTLY FOR EVERYONE

Soo Yoga family fitness and wellbeing centre was launched in Northampton in June 2019 by Strictly Come Dancing’s Kristina Rihanoff and her partner, rugby star Ben Cohen. The centre’s seven studios offer a

wide variety of classes for people of all ages and abilities and include Northampton’s first professionally equipped Hot Yoga studio alongside High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) studios, a meditation room, creche facilities and health café, Soo Greens, which caters for all types of diets. A COMMITMENT TO STAFF TRAINING

‘WE OFFER A

HUGE VARIETY OF CLASSES TO KEEP UP PEOPLE’S MOTIVATION LEVELS’

customer-led so our members can get the most out of their training. We offer a huge variety of classes to keep up people’s motivation levels and we like to feel that people are not just being instructed, they’re being taught. We want our members to leave us

having learned something, whether that’s about their

technique or their posture and their

core. We want to make sure they know how to exercise

properly.” The studio offers all styles of

yoga classes, including pregnancy, mother and baby classes, children and family yoga and chair yoga for elderly people. Other classes include cycling, dance, meditation,

FUNDING WILL TAKE ATEN GLOBAL TO NEXT LEVEL

Aten Global, a specialist in the design, installation and implementation of innovative solar renewable power solutions, is extending its global reach following a working capital injection from Reward Finance Group. The company, which was established just over a

year ago, has already generated more than £1m in sales, with its latest projects being completed in Saudi Arabia and Jamaica. It is on target to grow its turnover to £3.5m this year

having been commissioned to provide solar systems totalling 102 megawatts in the UK and overseas. The largest of these contracts is for a 45-megawatt

floating solar system for the National Water Commission in Jamaica. Once complete the system will have the dual benefit of generating energy, as well as significantly reducing the evaporation of water in its reservoirs. The £240,000 capital injection from Reward

Finance Group will enable Aten Global to finalise existing contracts and develop new tender opportunities in the UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.

Finance director of Aten Global, Nana Amonoo, is

looking forward to taking the company on to the next level. “The growth of the business over the last 12

months has been phenomenal,” he said. “However, to progress the growing number of tenders, and complete the existing projects, requires a significant amount of working capital, especially the recent large-scale Jamaican contract. “We are therefore thankful that Reward Finance

Group recognised the success we have achieved to date, and the potential for future growth. It quickly provided us with the necessary funds without making us ‘jump through hoops’, thereby enabling us to seize the opportunities we continue to generate.”

Earlier last year, The Sales Manager was a finalist in the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards Business Innovation Category for their pioneering recruitment model – The Sales Academy. Alongside recruiting salespeople

into clients’ companies, The Sales Manager offers training and upskilling to develop the salespeople of the future. In-house, managing director

Julie Futcher has nine people working in her own sales team, including one apprentice, many of whom came to the business without previous sales experience. Through a combination of training and coaching, they are a thriving, successful team.

‘INVESTING IN APPRENTICESHIPS, TRAINING AND UPSKILLING FOR YOUR STAFF PAYS OFF’

Julie explained what a

commitment to training and upskilling has done for The Sales Manager. She said: “Our commitment to

training and upskilling has meant there is a consistent sales style across the business. “As a business, we can identify

early on who will learn, apply the training and fit into our team. We can see at a glance when we’re able to take on new campaigns according to where people are in their training cycle. “It’s also great to know we are

contributing skilled individuals to the future of the industry and that we can hire people with a variety of skills and backgrounds, bringing diversity to our team. “In short, investing in

apprenticeships, training and upskilling for your staff pays off both in the immediate success of your business but also in the future of your industry.”
