LEANNE RETURNS TO HER ROOTS

Kettering-based CFW Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers has welcomed their latest recruit - Chartered Accountant Leanne Revie, FCCA (pictured). Leanne qualified as a Chartered

Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2005 having been an accountancy trainee at CFW. She returns to CFW after three years at Elsby & Co. Prior to that she ran her own Corby practice for four years, working with a range of small and medium sized businesses in Corby and Kettering. Leanne said: “I really

enjoyed my training at CFW and I’ve been made very welcome by the partners and staff. When you’re from the local area, as I am, business owners and their companies know you well and you’re a part of their business community. My focus will be to continue to work closely with businesses in the area.” CFW partner Shane Hampson

added: “We’re delighted with Leanne’s appointment and it’s great to have her back in the CFW team. “With 20 years’ experience and

having had her own business in Corby, she understands what it means to have the right advice and support from your accountant.” When she’s not working, Leanne

likes walking, spending time with her family, following football with her husband and sons, is a member of a local street dance group and plays guitar.

AWARD WIN IS A SIGN OF A FANTASTIC BRAND

Sign of the Times has won again at their industry’s key award event, the ISA-UK British Sign Awards, in the Décor category for their work for a pensions and investments company. Sign of the Times has worked with

Telford Mann for years and when they were asked by the company to support them with the brand graphics for their new offices in Kettering, they were keen to assist. Having won previous awards for

bespoke building signage and ambient graphics, Sign of the Times knew their close strategic partner Triad would offer the ideal creative and conceptual skills

needed to fulfil this unique brief alongside them. Sign of the Times’ marketing manager Lucy Wright said: “We regularly support design and brand agencies like Triad as signage consultants, offering advice and guidance on media and process to answer a brief without sacrificing creativity. “Our knowledge of mixed media

is extensive, and with our dedicated fabrication workshops and print capabilities, we’re often the ‘go to’ partner for agencies who want to create something that pushes the boundaries. “Working alongside Triad, we

crafted highly bespoke features pieces such as the illuminated central staircase installation. Manufacturing started with extensive prototyping in response to Triad’s creative brief. “This process was vital in

ensuring the quality of finish and for brand consistency. The final spaces included digitally printed wallpapers with individual built-up logos and brand emblems in birchface plywood, wrapped and sprayed foamex and individually cut vinyl graphics and brand statements.”
