across the pond to Louisiana for Andrew Lloyd Webbers’ uplifting musical Whistle Down the Wind. Based on the book and the film of the same name, the compelling story tells of a group of children who find an injured man in their barn and believe him to be Jesus. Meanwhile the adults are on the hunt for an escaped convict. With a large cast aged from 7 to 70 it promises to be another huge hit. KATS perform at Malborough Village Hall – a multi-purpose hall which transforms to a theatre with raked seating for 200 and which, combined with the expertise of KATS’ loyal professional technicians, uses the latest technology.


KATS welcomes new members of all ages and


all levels of experience – on stage and off. Annual membership fees are £40 for full playing members, £25 for associate members and £20 for student members. We are currently on the lookout for a new Treasurer - please get in touch if this sounds like something you’d like to try. KATS are always looking for local businesses to join

whom are volunteers. KATS is a place to have fun, a place to form friendships, build confidence, work as a team and a place to learn and grow. Many younger members have been inspired by performing with KATS and have gone on to launch their careers and further training at performing arts colleges and university.
