New manager for region’s Growth Hub


The Business Gateway Growth Hub has appointed a new manager to lead the expanded service that offers all businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire a single place to access information, funding and advice to support performance and growth. Jon Egley joins the Business Gateway Growth Hub after managing the Digital Growth Programme at East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) and brings over 20 years’ experience working in business support and development. Jon has developed expertise in a range of sectors including


manufacturing, engineering and digital technologies, and with 18 years’ experience in the private sector, understands the challenges business owners face, particularly when it comes to navigating the business support landscape. Jon said: “I am delighted to join the Business Gateway Growth

Hotel appoints Operations Manager


Vine Hotels have promoted Charlotte Brook to the position of Operations Manager at the Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hall Hotel and Spa. Charlotte has been with Vine


Hotels for over six years and in that time has progressed through the company, starting as a restaurant supervisor at its DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park Hotel, before being promoted to Food and Beverage Manager and then Operations Manager across the company’s Whirlowbrook Hall and Mosborough Hall. Her appointment follows the


recent promotion of Dan Wilson who became Area Manager. Garin Davies, Chief Executive of
