tor Thomas Newcomen’s world famous atmospheric steam engine. Situated in the Visitor Centre in Mayors Avenue Car Park it’s the oldest working model of the first ever steam engine. There’s also a shop, tea and coffee facilities and lots of information about things to do in the area. see page 84
