For the very best entertainment in the South Hams, come and take your seats at The Flavel. The Flavel is the cultural centre of Dartmouth, and a registered charity that is funded entirely by box office receipts and donations by residents and local organisations. We have entertainment every day, from live music and comedy, to classical concerts and film. Our packed programme is very popular with vis- itors and residents alike, of all ages. We also have a café and we are home to Dartmouth Library.

is free Wifi (in the library and café) and a stylish bar open when there are screenings or events in the main auditorium - the ideal place to relax before a show begins.


The Flavel is open Monday to Saturday with the Box Office staffed from 9am until the day’s final performance and you can only book your tickets over the phone or in person at the Box Office during these times. You can also book online at any time, day or night – please view the website for the latest listings.


The Flavel is located in Flavel Place in the centre of Dartmouth, with parking nearby (day time charges and limits apply). It is just off Mayors Avenue and near to The Flavel Methodist/URC Church.
