Gina Sauber — who brought Florida histo- ry to untold numbers as the “pioneer woman” at the South Florida Fairground’s Yesteryear Village and through her mobile program — died in an accident at her Lox- ahatchee home. Gina founded “A Time Remembered,” a nonprofit that traveled to schools and festivals. Her Shasta trailer was brimming with authentic historic arti- facts to teach the public—especially chil- dren—about the life of early pioneer set- tlers. She is survived by two sons and two daughters.

Marco Peters, of Myakka passed away May 10, 2019 at the age of 57; he was born in Amsterdam Holland. Animals were his life, Entertainment was his passion, Friendship his strength, Family his roots. Marco lost the power for the stage of life, and dropped the final curtain. He is survived by loving mother Gisela Stratmann, siblings Philip Peters, Cesare Peters and Sherida Peters. He is pre- ceded in death by his father Hans Peters. Services were in Bradenton.
EDGAR JOHN SIVORI 8-1-1930—6-16-2019
He was a loving husband to Norma Jean for 65 years. She died in 2018. He was the founder of Savori Cater- ing, Inc., and was Mr. Chowwagon (aka) “Chuckwagon for 25 years. He died on Father’s Day and his 5 chil- dren, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren said, “he was the greatest father anyone could have. Services and burial were in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Born on a farm in Suwanee Coun- ty, near Wellborn. He worked at the ship yards in Jacksonville, moved back home to farm with his father and attended NFJC. Then attended UF graduating with a degree in agriculture. After sev- eral jobs in the industry he trans- ferred to Green Cove Springs as the Clay County Agricultural Ex- tension Director until retiring. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeanie, one son and two grand- children. Services and burial were in Suwannee County.

Cheryl was a retired elementary school teacher in Springfield, MO. She had taught 3 years in Niangua. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s at Missouri State. She was a Master Gardner and an active member of the Unity Church of Spring- field. She was the wife of Max Willis who was CFO of IAFE until his retirement. Max attended many of our Florida Federation

Some may remember her as Darla Combs. She worked at the Volusia County Fair for 19 years. She moved to FL from Indiana. Darla and her high school sweetheart reconnected and were happily married since 2013. She loved the beach, watching NASCAR racing and cheering UCF football. She is survived by 3 children, 6 step- children, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and her Kitty Chloe.
