SATURDAY 12TH OCTOBER
FESTIVAL FEAST: THE FLAVEL CENTRE: 7.00PM – 11.00PM: We celebrate the opening of the Festival once again with our renowned Festival Feast. This year we are fortunate to have not one but three exciting local establishments to cook for us. The Royal Dart Yacht Club have kindly agreed to kick off the proceedings, Simon and Serin from Dartmouth Fine Foods will take over the reins for the main course and the Dart Marina Hotel will round off this delicious trio with dessert. WEDNESDAY 16TH OCTOBER
ANNUAL FOOD FESTIVAL QUIZ: CAFÉ ALF RESCO : 7.00PM – 10.30PM : Sponsored and hosted by Café Alf Resco this quiz is always hotly contested and fiercely fought. Tables of 6 are available for £165 which includes one of Alf’s famous rustic suppers. Tickets are available via our website

THURSDAY 17TH OCTOBER
CHILDREN’S TEA PARTY: FLAVEL CHURCH, FLAVEL PLACE: 4.30PM: Pop into the Flavel Church to sample a selection of delicious food and drink from some of our lovely local suppliers and restaurants. Open to all young people who may bring a responsible adult!
20 MILE SUPPER: COMMUNITY CAFÉ, 7.00PM FOR 7.30PM: Charlotte Pike, award winning cookbook author, cookery teacher and chef will be cooking this evening with the best seasonal ingredients from a 20 mile radius of Dartmouth. A drink on arrival followed by a delicious 3 courses. The menu will be decided in the week, based on the local ingredients that are at their best at the time. It will feature local fish or shellfish, grass fed meat, seasonal vegetables, leaves and herbs, and will have influences from Britain and the Mediterranean. FRIDAY 18TH OCTOBER BEER AND FOOD MATCHING:
THE GUILDHALL, VICTORIA RD: 6.30PM – 8.00PM: Join the Royal Castle Hotel on a culinary tour of South Devon, where they have prepared a selection of tasting plates, each served with a thoughtfully selected locally brewed beer to compliment or contrast the dish. EVENING DEMONSTRATION WITH LUCY DAVIES : DEMONSTRATION KITCHEN, ROYAL AVENUE GARDENS: 6.30PM - 7.30PM: Join us for an after dark demo in the main tent with Lucy Davis a naturopathic nutritionist, who will be talking to the host Julie Waddell (Moorish) about the benefits and uses for some of the wonderful superfoods available and demonstrating how to make some great healthy probiotic drinks and providing you with some superfood snacks.
