Dartmouth Food Festival - 2019 Festival Merchandise
Carrying on from the success of last year’s iconic design from Dartmouth’s very own artist and illustrator Simon Drew you can purchase again the very popular jute shopping bags (£6) and high quality cotton tea towels (£6) but we have now added to this collection with double oven gloves (£15), packs of 4 melamine coasters (£12), notecards in packs of 5 (£6) featuring Simon’s design along with glass work saver boards (£22) all which will make fantastic presents, with Christmas in mind.
We have brand new high quality navy cotton drill professional Chef’s aprons with the Dartmouth Food Festival logo on to purchase for £15. These will also be worn by the celebrity chefs during their demo workshops. The Chefs will also be personally signing their latest cook books for you at the Merchandise tent during the Festival.
The Totnes based Charity, Landworks, have provided us with more of their fantastic Ash Wooden Chopping Boards which can be used for a variety of things and again make attractive presents (£17.50). All merchandise can be purchased via our stand in Royal Avenue Gardens, so don’t forget to pop by and take home a useful souvenir from your visit.
Plastics Policy 2019
Once again, we continue our hard work to ensure that the Dartmouth Food Festival is single use plastic free. As per the last 2 years, we are banning the use of single use plastic throughout including; water bottles, sachets, straws, cups and plates etc and all exhibitors will be using alternatives including re- usable, compostable or biodegradable materials.
Well signed recycle/waste bins, will be dotted around the Festival in a bid to ensure that waste is disposed of or recycled in the best manner and once again ‘Till the Coast is Clear’, a social enterprise focused on removing plastic from our shorelines by specialist boat, will, alongside Coastal Recycling be on hand to help us reduce waste, maximise recycling and reach our environmental goals. Be sure to check out Till the Coast is Clear at our “Action Plastic” stand on Saturday and Sunday where they’ll be promoting plastic free initiatives.
