Time fl ies when you’re having fun with plants in the sun and this year has been no exception. As we go forth towards autumn it’s worth thinking ahead for next spring and summer. Now is a great time of year to plant new perennials because the soil is moist and still warm. We have a large range of well-established perennials at excellent prices ready for your enjoyment. Bulbs and autumn bedding are now available, get them planted early to give them a chance to establish before the cooler months arrive.
Shrubs and trees can be transplanted and it’s not too late to establish new specimens. Our homegrown range of hardy evergreens can bring colour throughout the darker months. You can start planning towards bringing tender plants under protection in your homes, conservatories and green houses. But be vigilant for pests, plants may have picked up unwanted guests while outside. We have organic and environmentally safe pest controls. If you have any questions, please pay us a visit but remember not to bring your pests with you. If you’re not sure what’s eating your favourite plant, take a photo and we will do our best to identify it for you.
