Commerce have been working with developers to create a mobile app which will enhance the experience for delegates, speakers and exhibitors at the conference. Conference delegates will
be able to see who is attending and shared contact information with other attendees. As well as display the
event schedule and find out more information on the speakers, there will be the option for attendees to arrange their own meetings and contribute to sessions by putting forward their views. Push notifications will also provide important updates and special offers relating to the conference. Lauren Hunt, manager of the Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce, said: “This year’s Transatlantic Conference is the first app-based event held by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce group. “We hope the app will make the
conference a lot more valuable for attendees by giving them everything they need – from schedules, networking opportunities, social media and much more – in the palm of their hands.” The app will be available on all major
mobile app stores through Crowd Compass.
