WELCOME TO YOUR JUNE EDITION. Before I tell you about this latest fab issue, I want to say good luck to all students sitting exams this month. These youngsters have plenty of stress to contend with which got me wondering whether we should introduce a scheme of taking dogs into schools as all the research suggests dogs benefi t us socially, physically and mentally. This month, with the demise of the Queen’s corgis and the rise of the petnup (yes, there is such a thing!), we ask just why are we a nation so besotted by man’s best friend? We also put Tonbridge in the spotlight with our special showcasing all the thriving town has to offer. On the travel front we take a city break to Amsterdam and closer to home meet four families putting sport centre stage. It’s Father’s Day on 16th June so check out our pick of the presents and if you’re feeling lucky, why not enter our competitions to win tickets to see Clare Teal at the Sevenoaks Summer Festival or Rag’n’Bone Man at Brighton Racecourse?
