The SCR Chambers: East Midlands
Chamber welcomes influx of new patrons
Meet our new patrons
East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) is delighted to welcome a number of new patrons to the Chamber family - all of which are well established and highly regarded in their own right across a number of sectors. Prosperous and expanding business
communities such as the great East Midlands are home to a number of highly successful and renowned organisations. In Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and
Leicestershire we are proud that so many have become patrons of the Chamber as a way of supporting their local area while simultaneously adding value to Chamber members of all shapes and sizes. While these organisations benefit from
working at a high level with, and being aligned to, the region’s largest business support organisation, patronage also provides the Chamber, and its members, with a network of successful businesses across multiple sectors which can, individually and collectively, add significant value to Chamber activity. This, as a result, enhances the quality and
level of delivery and activity on offer to Chamber members. Scott Knowles, Chief Executive at the
Chamber, said: “I am delighted to welcome Assured Energy, Duncan & Toplis, ESPA, Future Life Wealth Management, Gateley, Highlander, Vine Hotels and Walker Wood into patronage. “Alongside strategic partners, Chamber
patrons are a powerful force in influencing policy, driving economic growth and development and equipping smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future. “These well respected eight organisations
will all individually bring to the Chamber skills and expertise to complement those of the other patrons to evolve something which is, together, greater than the sum of its parts, to the benefit of the Chamber, its members and the communities we serve.” The Chamber currently has 37 patrons, including Toyota, John Pye Auctions, Westfield Health and several leading universities. It also enjoys the support of 12 strategic partners.
