Chamber confirms return of sell-out business exhibition


Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber have confirmed Chamber Means Business - a sell- out exhibition - months in advance, with 57 businesses set to exhibit. Taking place on Thursday 5 September at


AESSEAL New York Stadium, Rotherham, Chamber Means Business is free to attend and open to all businesses from across the region, with an expected footfall of over 300. The exhibition, sponsored by Burrows, KAT

Apply for Barnsley and Rotherham’s prestigious Business Awards


The awards, sponsored by AAG IT Services, officially opens for applications on Monday, 3 June for businesses across South Yorkshire. Taking place at Magna in Rotherham on Friday


18 October, the awards ceremony will be hosted by actor Dean Andrews, who is well-known for his lead role in feature film The Navigators, hit BBC show Life on Mars and spin off Ashes to Ashes, drama Last Tango in Halifax and he has most recently taken to the screens as a new character in ITV’s award-winning Emmerdale, a character which will soon have all soap fans talking. Celebrating the achievements of all businesses


with an “S” postcode, the Business Awards is one of the highlights of the annual business calendar. In 2018, the event saw more than 500 representatives of the local business community come together to support the event.
