Following the success of the inaugural event, the Chamber is delivering another Looking after no.1 event in conjunction with Chamber patron The Alternative Board, Derby. This interactive event will
show you how to change your thinking and change your life for good. You will hear from real business owners who will reveal how they have done just that, and also give you something to take away with you to get the thought processes working.

8.30am: Introduction from David Pearson, Chamber Director of Partnerships
8.40am: The Alternative Board interactive presentation

to business owners and individuals at executive level where the business turnover is £500,000 or more and a minimum of 20 employees are employed. It takes place on 14 March at
the Nottingham Belfry and is free for members, £35+VAT non-members.
To book, email
membership@emc-dnl.co.uk or telephone 0333 320 0333 (option one).
There’s still time to join us at our Annual Dinner
There are limited spaces remaining for the Chamber’s eagerly- anticipated Annual Dinner. Gadget Show host and
futurologist Jason Bradbury is one of the guest speakers at this year’s Chamber annual black-tie dinner. Being held just eight days before
the 29 March Brexit deadline, the other speaker will be a high-ranking politician who will, hopefully, be able to shed a little bit more light on what the economic future will be following the UK’s divorce from the EU.
The Annual Dinner is the pinnacle
of events organised by East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire), the British Chambers of Commerce Chamber of the Year Award winner. It takes place this year at Colwick Hall, Nottingham, from 6.30pm to 11pm on 21 March. The event is open to anybody.
Tickets are still available. Prices are £90+VAT for members or £120+VAT for non-members, with discounts for tables of ten.
The Chamber’s Annual Dinner is one of the standout regional business events of the year
With thanks to our valued sponsors: ActionCoach, enva, Frame Fast, The Dairy, Ministry of Defence, RDS, RSM and PDM.
