CONFERENCE AND EXPOS The Chamber’s conference and expos are high-level events that offer delegates a wide range of opportunities ranging from benefiting from industry leaders and up-to-date information on the business landscape to engaging and connecting with likeminded individuals. They also give businesses the opportunity to increase exposure and showcase their products and services to a high volume of decision-makers, potentially leading to fruitful and long-lasting partnerships and collaborations with businesses from relevant sectors.
NETWORKING AND SOCIAL EVENTS The Chamber runs events every week of the year and while they are all very different, there is one core objective that underpins them - they are designed to help you meet the right people and facilitate long- lasting and productive relationships. Taking place across the region,
our networking and social events reflect the needs of the diverse range of businesses in our region. We also know that some of the best business conversations happen in a relaxed setting and that's why many of our events take place in just such an atmosphere - perfect for mixing business with pleasure.

BUSINESS-FOCUSED WORKSHOPS When it comes to significant local, regional, national and international events and decisions that impacts profoundly on business – from general elections to mandatory legislation – collaboration is key to developing a unified voice for business. That’s why the Chamber delivers
highly-interactive events which bring together businesses of all sizes and sectors to better understand the current and future impact of such events and decisions, while at the same time feeding into the conversation through connecting with peers, experts, stakeholders and those with significant influence.
ECONOMIC AND GOVERNMENT EVENTS It is crucial that businesses across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire are able to operate in
a climate that is conducive to business and one that supports and promotes growth – the economy and Government strategy clearly underpins this. The Chamber facilitates regular
meetings between members and key economic and political decision-makers and stakeholders so that businesses remain informed as to current and future conditions while giving them an opportunity to directly feedback issues affecting businesses in our region.
INTERNATIONAL TRADE EVENTS The Chamber’s comprehensive international trade-related information, advice and networking events highlight new overseas opportunities for current and would-be explorers and facilitate potential openings and connections across the globe. The wide range of events, many
of which are in collaboration with the Chamber’s specialised partners,
not only inform delegates as to new business opportunities in key international markets, but also puts them in touch with country experts. They also provide networking opportunities with other exporting businesses and experts.
BUSINESS AWARDS The Chamber Business Awards are among the Chamber's showpiece events, recognising and rewarding the best of business from across the East Midlands. There are 12 categories to
choose from including the brand new Business Venue of the Year category, with the coveted Business of the Year award chosen by the judges from winners of all the awards. The awards are open to all of our members, are free to enter, and a great way to raise your profile in the business community. The Awards are now open for entries until Friday 17 May 2019 at 5pm.
