Bright picture for Midlands-based Company Image
Company Image Commercial Interiors, a Leicestershire-based office interior specialist, doubled its turnover last year and is delivering a greater number of large projects across the East Midlands. Working with organisations of all
sizes, from SMEs to blue-chip companies, such a period of success also means that Company Image is looking to recruit new staff to oversee a variety of new projects. Director Jonathan Smalley said:
“It’s been an amazing time for us thanks to our focus on delivering quality solutions with outstanding service. We saw a 45% increase in clients and sales in 2018 and hope for similar, if not better, results in 2019. We have many clients across the Midlands and we’re in a fantastic place to offer a more comprehensive range of competitively-priced products and services.” Company Image’s recent projects
have mutually benefited their clients and the business. The range of turnkey projects delivered have enhanced its reputation within the industry, as well as allowing it to build greater trust with potential new clients.
Conference Centre to offer electric car charging points
In keeping with the greater demand for electric and hybrid cars, the Derby Conference Centre’s new car park boasts 14 electric car charging points, three of which were installed by leading electric car specialist Tesla. This is now the largest concentration of ports in one location in the entire city of Derby. Given the East Midlands is one
of the smallest regions for electric car charging points, the centre hopes that such a high number of electric car charging points in its car park will start a new trend of further hubs being installed across the region, which currently has around 18,000 connectors. Many businesses are turning
towards electric vehicles for their fleets because of cheaper tax and other incentives. With this trend set to continue, the centre is well- placed to welcome business travellers using electric cars to the city of Derby. Matthew Hutchings, Managing Director at The Derby Conference

Centre, said: “Electric cars are only going to become more prevalent so it’s important that anyone driving an electric or
hybrid vehicle who wants to visit not only our centre but the great city of Derby has the opportunity to keep their vehicles charged.”
We set up Derbyshire Distillery early in 2018. Our aim was simple; produce fantastic gins, vodkas and liqueurs using the best local and international ingredients.
We use a combination of traditional copper alembic stills alongside our state of the art Genio Still to deliver beautifully crafted, small batch spirits.
Derbyshire Distillery is the first commercial distillery in Chesterfield, a fact we are so proud of we named our first gins after it!
Our passion for this ancient art is evident in our spirits, we hope you enjoy drinking them as much as we enjoy making them.
