SmartFreight targets Birmingham business community with latest regional appointment


Shipping software provider SmartFreight has announced the appointment of Barry Bouwmeester as its new Regional Partnership Manager for the Birmingham area, as part of its ongoing UK expansion plans.


Barry will be responsible for introducing businesses to the latest advancements in distribution technology and communicating the benefits of integrating a multi-carrier shipping platform such as SmartFreight.


He said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Regional Partnership Manager for Birmingham and the surrounding area. The continuing e-commerce boom has created a huge demand for cutting-edge shipping software platforms and Birmingham will be an important area for future growth. It is a key region for developing the SmartFreight brand and I am looking forward to building new customer relationships and introducing a lot of companies to the benefits of using us.”
