The King’s (Shropshire Light Infantry) Officer’s Green Cloth Helmet c. 1881-1884, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the fine quality frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet a silver strung bugle horn enclosing within the strings gilt script ‘KLI’, title scroll below ‘The Shropshire Regiment’, buff leather sweatband with quilted silk lining, the plate not original to the helmet, apart from the frontal plate no gilt remains to any other area, good sound condition

The Wiltshire Regiment Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1881-1901, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet a gilt cross patee with silver Royal Ducal cypher in the centre, buff leather sweatband and retailer’s details ‘A & N.C.S.L London’, the plate most probably original to the helmet, slight gilt loss to most of the fittings otherwise very good condition
