The Worcestershire Regiment Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1902-14, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings (the quadrant of other ranks pattern), the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet an eight pointed silver star with gilt and silver overlays, at the base a silver scroll ‘The Worcestershire Regiment’, the centre of post-1891 pattern, the plate not original to the helmet, buff leather sweatband with crimson silk lining, the gilt sound on the frontal plate and chin chain elsewhere lacking, the front peak trim fractured in the centre otherwise in sound condition

The South Staffordshire Regiment Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet and Carrying Tin c. 1881-1901, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet (worn) a silver Sphinx/Egypt, a scroll below ‘The South Staffordshire Regiment’, the plate not original to the helmet, buff leather sweatband with crimson silk lining, little gilt remains to all areas, the chin chain is silver plated, the spike broken off from its screw bolt, the helmet otherwise in sound condition (2)
