Lancashire Artillery Volunteers Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1878 - 1901, the blue cloth skull complete with all silver plated fittings, the frontal plate of Royal Arms pattern with a blank top scroll and ‘Lancashire Artillery Volunteers’ on the bottom, buff leather sweat band, crimson silk lining and quilted ivory silk skull lining, the plate is original to the helmet, together with an unnamed carrying tin, the ivory silk lining is part detached otherwise in good overall condition (2)
