Royal Wootton Basset Rugby Team

The Games also involved 100 young leaders from Wiltshire schools who had completed training for officials, scorers and leaders in each of the sports. Wiltshire and Swindon Sport CEO Steve Boocock said “They really did a fantastic job and I heard lots of positive comments from schools and clubs on their work. Thank you to them for their exemplary attitudes and the schools that provided the Leaders”.

“Thanks also must go to the volunteers from Clubs, County Associations and National Governing Bodies of Sport along with staff from Wiltshire Council and Active Trowbridge. We were also grateful for the support from local Sainsbury’s stores for refreshments on the day. Without their support we would not be able to offer this unique event to the schools in Wiltshire”.
