The Hub Events Round-up Post-event reports and news of forthcoming events Business fair gets the royal treatment
The second Sutton Coldfield ‘royal’ business fair has been hailed as a success, as 400 delegates and 37 businesses gathered at the Ramada Hotel for the event, hosted by the town’s Chamber of Commerce. A wide range of businesses from the royal
borough and beyond exhibited and attended the event, including production specialists, business furniture suppliers, IT services, professional development services and creative businesses. Delegates and exhibitors also had the opportunity to speak to the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s dedicated international trade team and in-house policy experts. The Greater Birmingham and Solihull Growth
Hub (GBSLEP) were also on hand with a team of advisors, who presented a seminar to attendees. The GBSLEP sponsored the fair alongside the
European Regional Development Fund and Sutton Coldfield Food Festival. Katie Hale, marketing and business
development consultant and Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce president, said: “There is so much energy in the room, and we’ve gotten a little bit bigger this year, and its great to see more stands. “The dynamic today is good, the mix of
business is good and there is a lot of people that are here to do business and help each other which is what this event is all about. “A lot of the business that we get from these
events comes from exhibitors, and people are here to help, network and support each other. A lot of the business that we pick up is from the exhibitors here, because they’re in that business mind set.”
