The C-Type Series - a radically new approach in design

of three core product lines with six to eight models in each, producing between 7.5kVA to 165kVA across the range (50Hz). The C-Type series is said to build on Mecc Alte’s leading design features and benefits from many years of continuous refinement. This new generation of products has been driven by improvements which directly benefit the customer. This has been achieved by maximising performance, minimising as- sembly time and limiting lost operating time, The resulting host of
improvements, in all aspects of performance and function, has meant the the new C-Type Series has already been warmly received by industry. C-Type alternators make the

most of energy conversion to produce the maximum power to size ratio. This increased power density means that ‘they really do punch above their weight’, says Mecc Alte. All C-Type alternators have

greater than ever thanks to the C-Type’s redesigned terminal board. Optional configurations can increase the number of terminal studs to suit your application meaning remote or simplified reconnections via series star to parallel star, or simplified reconnections. Both can be configured
within the alternator itself giving C-Type unparalleled flexibility. The result is a compact, efficient, lighter and more intelligent solution, all in a single package.
