SK 225 industrial alternators - shape and content
The Sincro SK225 4-pole industrial brushless/AVR alternator series offers customers a new design, with changes including improved external shaping - with other benefits such as steel housings and extreme toughness, reports WIP.

incro’s SK225 4-pole industrial brushless/AVR alternators series
has a new design, with changes which include improved external shaping, steel housings and extreme toughness.
The new alternators can now
be ordered on S and M sizes: • SK225 SM 65kVA#1500
RPM | 78 kVA#1800 RPM • SK225 MS 80kVA#1500
RPM | 96 kVA#1800 RPM In the upcoming months,
power types like 80, 93, 110KVA#1500 RPM will be also integrated into the new range configuration.
The new design following the existing one found in the

SK160, FB, HB, IB models: epoxy-powder-painted steel housing ensuring scratch resistance and toughness, using fixing screws for the bars supporting the main stators and exciter. Interchangeability is key - the SK225 current model both for SAE and IM B34 couplings: requires the same frame size and interaxis distance between the feet holes.
Worldwide Independent Power Power April 2018 The terminal box has been
positioned 65-mm lower. This will allow to pack 4 alternators (instead of 2) in a standard crate, with a great saving in transport and storage costs, says Sincro. When auxiliary devices or terminals are present, a higher terminal box will be supplied. The rear shield of the unit has been redesigned - it is now made of cast-iron and arranged to host the PMG. This will be available on
request as a kit, which OEMs and distributors can install on their own on each machine of the new series.
Thanks to the fastening
system created by conical keys it is possible to assemble and
disassemble exciter rotors and fans with great ease in after-sales operations. Sincro SK range of industrial brushless/A VR alternators, with powers from 65 up to 2,600 kVA/50Hz, consists of more than 30 models available in 7 series (SK225, SK250, SK315, SK355, SK400, SK450, SK500) in low and medium voltage. According to the manufacturer, Sincro 4-pole brushless alternators have been developed with user-friendly approach and advanced tech to provide compactness, versatility, easy installation and maintenance.
