ISSUE SPOTLIGHT: COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING
SUPPLIER HAS SUCCESS SEWN UP
Gilt Edged is one of the county’s best known promotional product suppliers. It has been working with its
customers to produce branded items for over 30 years and one of its largest areas of work is producing branded clothing. Their ability to be able to embroider, screen and transfer print on-site allows them to keep a tight control over the quality and turnaround of the garments.
To keep up with demand and
maintain quality, Gilt Edged is always investing in new machinery. They have recently added to their ever-growing collection of embroidery machines enabling them to now produce over 10 million stitches a week. They have also added a new member to their busy team. Shane Frederiksen joins them, bringing nearly 20 years of valuable experience.
Group marketing director Anne-
Marie Cook said: “When you think about promotional clothing your mind probably thinks of branded polo shirts or giveaway T-shirts at exhibitions. Whilst these are still very popular, we produce a far more diverse selection of garments and services for our customers. For example, our work wear and uniforms service is not just about the clothes, it’s also about how it
works with companies to manage stock and provide a way for staff to easily order items. “We have evolved over the past
30 years and adapted our products and services to meet the needs of our customers. In another 30 years, we’ll still be wearing clothes and Gilt Edged will still be producing them.”
