BUSINESS REPORT
AGENCY STILL BOLDLY GOING AFTER TEN YEARS
An award-winning photographic and video production agency is celebrating its 10th anniversary in April. Daventry-based Pictures55 has
an impressive portfolio of clients that has led to its network of staff completing photography, film and video and animation assignments all over the world. It produces high impact images
for news and PR, photos of corporate events, portraits and studio images and offers fixed rates for most assignments. Co-directors James
Robbins and Stuart Reynolds launched the business and their core team is supported by editor, Jonathan Bull. James, who has previously
worked as a press photographer and for a major communications agency, said: “We are experts in photography, film and video, animation and in-house production – all under one roof.
“We are ideal for businesses who
are looking for a local photographer they can trust to produce for them high quality commercial images for press releases, websites, publications and profile shots.
“Video is changing and we are
certainly being called on to do more and more corporate videos for social media. “We are transparent in terms of
our costs and offer fixed rates for most assignments.” Stuart, who is a former golf pro
and has a background in business, added: “We do a lot of work nationally with major clients and are keen to raise our profile locally to show firms in Northamptonshire what is available to them.”

RUTH HAS BRILLIANT TRAVEL SOLUTIONS
Kettering-based travel specialist Ruth Webb has teamed up with Brilliant Travel, a division of award-winning independent travel group, Barrhead Travel. Ruth will be providing expert
support and guidance to discerning travellers who are looking for something over and above a click and collect experience. Ruth, who has travelled
extensively in Europe, America and Africa, creates a personalised, tailor-made holiday itinerary for clients and makes all the necessary arrangements for them from door- to-door. She said: “Being part of Brilliant
Travel means I can offer great prices with the security that being ATOL and ABTA protected brings. My Brilliant Payday Deals mean that businesses can work with me for free, giving their staff access to special offers and tailored packages, not available in the High Street or online to the general public. “I can tailor the offers to best
suit the company’s demographics so it’s a great soft benefit for firms to offer their employees. I can also tailor them to the time of year.
Ruth Webb
So, for example, early in the year lots of people are interested in booking holidays to Lapland. “My offers are sent out by firms’
HR teams, for data protection purposes, and then the employees can contact me directly for further information or to make a booking. “The first email gives all
employees a five per cent discount off their first booking with me.” Clients can also opt to spread
the cost of their holiday over a period of time with a deposit and monthly payment options.
