See Behind the Scenes at Tatchers’ Myrtle Farm


16 September 2017 Join the team at Tatchers Cider and take a tour of their orchards and


production line to see how one of the country's leading ciders is made. Visitors are welcomed to the farm on Saturday 16 September for a free Open Day with activities for the whole family, with the opportunity to talk to the cider makers, taste some cider and get your hands dirty pressing apples. Tatchers will be running a number of different tours, including visiting


the orchards on a trailer, walking around the bottle and new canning lines, as well as getting close to their 150-year-old oak vats. Learn from cider makers about making cider at home and why apples are so important. Doors open at 11.00am through to 3.00pm and free parking is available

SPOOKLEY RETURNS TO FARRINGTON'S

returns to Farrington’s Farm Shop this autumn. Pick from thousands of home-grown pumpkins from their pumpkin patch, carve Spookley shapes and try some seasonal pumpkin dishes. Or cosy up and listen to the heartwarming story of Spookley, the square-shaped pumpkin. Supporting the national anti-bullying week, Spookley tells the story


of a square pumpkin who lives in a pumpkin patch with a crop of round pumpkins. Te tale is one that both children and adults can all relate to, helping children to accept differences in people and deal with their problems in a positive way. Te pumpkin festival will be taking place at Farrington’s over the
