TARDEBIGGE CHURCH choir is seeking new recruits! The choir, based at St Bartholom- ew’s (B60 3AH) is struggling with declining numbers due to age and health, but still sings in four parts at morning and evening services on Sundays, plus weddings and funerals. ALVECHURCH COMMUNITY Choir meets at 7.30pm on Mondays, usually in Alvechurch Village Hall though on the 2nd Monday each month they move to a different venue, usually Alvechurch Social Club. The autumn term starts on Sep 11 at the club, then the other Mondays in Sep at the hall. The choir is an open access sing- ing group; new members of all abilities are welcome. It is part of a charity called Everybody Let’s Sing and is committed to bringing music to a wide community, in- cluding a regular choir it runs at The Lawns care home.
