GPs can now prescribe a generic product to treat Heartburn, and Acid Indigestion. Acidex Advance forms a protective layer at the top of the stomach which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe). Acidex Advance is the first generic available and offers 14% savings against originator*. It is now available in major wholesalers throughout the United Kingdom. Acidex Advance oral suspension is available in two flavours; Aniseed and Peppermint and packs sizes 250ml and 500ml. Each 10ml dose of Acidex Advance contains Sodium Alginate 1000mg and Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate 200mg.
