Broadstone Youth Club Needs You If you have (or young person we can set volunteer
You may not be aware but Broadstone Youth Club runs entirely on volunteers. Some of us are parents of current members, former members or future members, others are young people doing Duke of Edinburgh or other volunteer programmes, but most are just great people prepared to give something back to the community in which we live.
As a group, we are really keen to extend the club to include Year 7 children, as well as those in Years 8 and 9 and also hope to create a monthly drop in for older teenagers. The current group of volunteers simply cannot do this and without extra support the club will not be able to expand.
Please would you consider joining our team, offering to help on one evening (7-9pm) per week during term time. We have all sorts of roles from covering the tuck shop, refereeing pool tournaments, coming up with crazy 8 o’clock challenges and just generally being there... its always fun and sometimes we even turn up when it’s not our shift!
will have) a attending, you up to
on the same night or an
alternate one
if it’s just not cool for you to be there together. If you can only offer alternate weeks, that’s ok too.
Please drop me an email if you think you can help. We will sort out DBS checks and give you basic training, but without your support we simply are not going to be able to expand and provide a good night out for the young people in Broadstone.
Thanks
